on the rock of ages? Are we hiding ourselves in our only refuge? The
storm is coming, relentless in its fury. Are we prepared to meet it?
Are we one with Christ as He is one with the Father? Are we heirs
of God and joint heirs with Christ? Are we working in copartnership
with Christ?—

Teach Lessons of Christ—The apostle presents a solemn charge
to every minister of the gospel. He arrays them before God and the
Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead, to preach the
Word, and they are not to show a partiality for merely the prophecies
and the argumentative portions of the Scriptures, but the greatest and
most important lessons that are given us are those given us by Jesus
Christ Himself.—
