The Message of Love
In the beginning, God was revealed in all the works of creation....
And upon all things in earth, and air, and sky, He wrote the message
of the Father’s love.
Now sin has marred God’s perfect work, yet that handwriting
remains. Even now all created things declare the glory of His excel-

lence.... Every tree and shrub and leaf pours forth that element of
life without which neither man nor animal could live; and man and
animal, in turn, minister to the life of tree and shrub and leaf.—D.A.

Nature Is Not God
God’s handiwork in nature is not God Himself in nature. The
things of nature are an expression of God’s character; by them we
may understand His love, His power, and His glory; but we are not
to regard nature as God. The artistic skill of human beings produces
very beautiful workmanship, things that delight the eye, and these
things give us something of the idea of the designer; but the thing
made is not the man. It is not the work, but the workman, that
is counted worthy of honor. So, while nature is an expression of
God’s thought, it is not nature but the God of nature that is to be
exalted.—

The desire of God for every human being is expressed in the
words, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper
and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
He it is who “forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy dis-
eases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee
