house of Israel throughout the history of the divided monarchy; it is
thus with spiritual Israel today.
The seer of Patmos, looking down through the ages to the time of
this restoration of Israel in the earth made new, testified:
“I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number,
of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the

throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in
their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God
which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
“And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the
elders and the four beasts [“living creatures,” R.V.], and fell before the
throne on their faces, and worshiped God, saying, Amen: Blessing,
and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and
might, be unto our God forever and ever.”
“And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the
voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying,
Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and
rejoice, and give honor to Him.” “He is Lord of lords, and King of
kings: and they that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
