to a sense of their duty. Not one in twenty of those who have a good
standing with Seventh-day Adventists is living out the self-sacrificing
principles of the word of God. But let not their enemies, who are
destitute of the first principles of the doctrine of Christ, take advantage
of the fact that they are reproved. This is evidence that they are the
children of the Lord. Those who are without chastisement, says the
apostle, are bastards and not sons. Then let not these illegitimate
children boast over the lawful sons and daughters of the Almighty.
