        Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
      
      
        meekness, temperance.” Neither talent, eloquence, nor selfish study of
      
      
        the Scriptures, will produce love to God or conformity to the image of
      
      
        Christ. Nothing but divine power can regenerate the human heart and
      
      
        character, and imbue the soul with the love of Christ, which will ever
      
      
        manifest itself in love to those for whom He died.—
