Isaiah 52:7
Isaiah heard the voice of God calling, that the way might be
prepared to usher in His everlasting kingdom. The message was
plain.
Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
“Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.”

The Church Takes the “Good News” to the World
These prophecies are being fulfilled today in the unenlightened
regions of earth. The prophet compared gospel workers to banners
set up to guide those looking for the light of truth: “It shall come to
pass in that day that the Lord shall set His hand again the second
time to recover the remnant of His people who are left. ... He will set
