is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him? Therefore all
things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even
so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Beware of false
prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they
are ravening wolves.
Matthew 7:6-12, 15

For there shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall
show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:24
.
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye
in Him: rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as
ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware
lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after
the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after
Christ.
Colossians 2:6-8

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great rec-
ompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have
done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little
while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now
the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, My soul shall
have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back
unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Hebrews 10:35-39

For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his
own works, as God did from His. Let us labor therefore to enter
into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.

Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun
a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ....
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ:
that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of
your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving
together for the faith of the gospel; and in nothing terrified by your
adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to
you of salvation, and that of God. For unto you it is given in the
