The Place of Prayer—God Is There—In every Christian home
God should be honored by the morning and evening sacrifices of prayer
and praise. Children should be taught to respect and reverence the
hour of prayer

The hour and place of prayer and the services of public worship
the child should be taught to regard as sacred because God is there.
And as reverence is manifested in attitude and demeanor, the feeling
that inspires it will be deepened

There has been a great change, not for the better, but for the worse, in
the habits and customs of the people in reference to religious worship.
