purgatoriul astfel: „Purgatoriul este o stare de suferin¸t˘a dup˘a via¸ta
aceasta, în care sunt re¸tinute — pentru un timp — acele suflete care,
desp˘ar¸tindu-se de aceast˘a via¸t˘a, dup˘a ce p˘acatele lor de moarte au
fost iertate, ierta¸ti de vinov˘a¸tia ¸si pedeapsa ve¸snic˘a ce li se cuvenea;
dar care mai au de suferit ¸si o pedeaps˘a temporar˘a pentru p˘acatele
lor, ca ¸si acele suflete care p˘ar˘asesc lumea, f˘acân-du-se vinovate de
